Flatsbag in collaboration with Bonefish & Tarpon Trust have set up this week at Crooked & Acklins Trophy Lodge June 8 – June 16, 2018 to fish and conduct bonefish research on the flats of Crooked Island, with the purpose of tagging bonefish and identifying vital bonefish habitat. Your host for the trip will be BTT’s Bahamas Initiative Manager, Justin Lewis, who you will have the opportunity to fish with. Justin will be on hand to discuss and teach tagging and fish handling techniques, and to answer questions about BTT’s research and conservation efforts. A presentation of recent scientific findings about our target species will be presented one evening. This will be a great opportunity to swap stories and learn firsthand about bonefish, tarpon and permit. Take advantage of this rare opportunity to spend a week with one of the world’s leading bonefish scientists in one of the best fisheries in the world! We hope you will enjoy learning from and assisting BTT in its research. (PC: Dr. Aaron Adams)
